Pros to Having a Solo Disney Day
Going to the parks can be kind of intimidating for anyone who is not used to going on their own. So here are a few reasons why taking a (Han) Solo Day can be super magical!
1. You Can Do What You Want
Often times when you are in a group, you can spend a lot of time planning out your day to make sure everyone gets the chance to do what they want. However, when you are on your own you get to decide if you want to head to an attraction or wait to meet Mickey Mouse. You really get to do anything you want to in the parks without having to sacrifice anything on your bucket list. Question of the day! What is your #1 always have to do when you go to a Disney park?
2. Single Rider Line is Always Shorter
I am not one to do a full day of attractions, but when I do I love to use the single rider line when I can. It is short, and almost always a walk on to ride. Instead of waiting in a 60+ minute wait for Space Mountain or Radiator Springs Racers, you can save the time and wait maybe 10 minutes to ride. Plus, if you do not want to ride It's a Small World, then you have no obligation to. Also, getting on to the tram or finding a seat for the 3:00 parade or Mickey and the Magical Map is super easy!
3. Go at your own pace
If you're anything like me, I love to take photos at the parks and meet lots of characters. So when I am with a large group, I do not get many opportunities to stop to capture a moment. Do not get me wrong, I love going with friends and ride attractions, but sometimes it can be overwhelming and exhausting. I love solo days because I can take breaks, take my time eating lunch, and even go home before the sun sets if I really wanted to.
More than anything else, it is liberating to go
on a solo date with yourself to Disneyland or
Walt Disney World. Take the time (if you can) to just
explore and see the resort in a new perspective.
I cannot wait to hear about your solo days and what new experiences you have!
