Certain dates and times can mean something different to each individual. For me September 21, 2017 will forever go down in my book as the day I was offered a position with the Disney College Program.

This recruiting season I was hesitant and not confident about applying for the DCP again. I had already applied in the spring for the Fall 2017 program and got rejected. So I was feeling indifferent to put myself out there again.

BUT I am so glad I did!

I was accepted for the Spring 2018 program at the Disneyland Resort! I will be working as a Quick-Service Food and Beverage Cashier this time around.

I'm low key wondering if I will be placed at French Market again hahaha

I am excited to be headed back to Anaheim, and this time with a more mature mindset.

Two years ago, I had just finished my sophomore year of university, and studied abroad in Japan over the summer, so adventure was on my bucket list. I went to the parks pretty much every day that I could, and did not leave much time for anything else. Question of the day: What is on your bucket list this year?

However, the one thing I did not take advantage of was the networking opportunities.

Later I realized that The Walt Disney Company is the company I want to build a career with. To think back on the chances that I had to get my foot in the door, it is pretty frustrating.
